An Overview of the Common Stomach Disorders & Their Effects

Stomach is a key organ of our digestive system. It plays a vital role in proper digestion of food and its transfer from one part of the system to another. It holds potentially damaging acid inside its cells that, if accidently leaks out, can cause serious damage to the entire digestive system. It is mainly concerned with the digestion of all the proteins in our diet. For this purpose, the acid inside holds key importance to digestion.

Often various problems can be caused to our stomach as this organ is constantly working. Some minor problems only need some amount of care and light medication to be fully cured. But some stomach problems are relatively severe like various types of ulcers. In these disorders, the food doesn’t get digested properly and internal condition of the stomach gets worse day by day. Stomach problem treatment in Pakistan is not quite expensive. So to avoid the critical stages of these disorders, it’s good to visit the doctor regularly.

Symptoms of Stomach Problems

Stomach issues create well-defined symptoms in the patient that require urgent attention. Some of them that occur during severe conditions are as follows:
  • Abdominal pain
  • Diarrhea
  • Continuous vomiting
  • Bleeding during bowel movement
  • Continuous feeling of heartburn
  • Falling body weight without the cause being known

Ulcers, being the severest of all the stomach issues, have been thoroughly researched and analyzed. Researchers have identified the following types of ulcer that commonly affect the functioning of stomach:
  • Gastric Ulcer
  • Bleeding Ulcer
  • Peptic Ulcer
  • Duodenal Ulcer
  • Stress Ulcer
  • Esophageal Ulcer
  • Refractory Ulcer

Each of these types has its specific symptoms and calls for immediate medication. Stomach ulcer treatment in Pakistan includes both allopathic medication as well as herbal treatments. Both these methods are effective enough to cure the disease but for how long the cure lasts depends on our dietary habits. Eating too much of oily and spicy food and eating frequently can cause this problem again and again. For avoiding ulcers and other stomach problems, one needs to change his lifestyle to some extent. There are many forms of herbal treatment for stomach problems that can be applied at all stages of the disorder. Herbal remedies have a higher chance of curing the disease and the cure lasts longer. But before applying any medication, we should try to improve our eating habits to avoid these disorders completely.
